After a year of hip-hop being ran by the South, Jay-z had to put his super-hero abilities to work. With Kanye settin the year off right with Graduation going plat in about 3 days, the ROC was definately in the buildin. The Jay came and shut the shit down when he annouced his American Gangster album (Which is one his best pieces of work in my opinion). Then rumors of State Property gettin back together were confirmed a couple months ago and the hip-hop world was shocked to see Roc-a-fella records makin they're climb back to the top. Free and Beans album drop next month. I hear they're both supposed to be bangers. Then last night during Hov's American Gangster tour, he announced that Jadakiss is the newest member of the Roc-a-fella team. WOW. We all know Jada's a monster, so ummm the takeover has begun.
